What every air duct cleaning invoice needs

  • Your business name, address, phone and license number
  • Invoice number, date and due date
  • Customer name, billing address and service address
  • A line for every service, part and fee, with quantity and rate
  • Tax, total, payments received and balance due
  • Payment terms and how to pay

Pricing air duct cleaning work

  • Price by system plus vent count, or by system with a stated vent allowance and a per-vent charge above it. Tell the customer the method before arrival.
  • Build the base price from crew hours (including setup and teardown) at your loaded crew rate, plus equipment cost per job, plus margin.
  • List coil cleaning, blower cleaning, dryer vents and duct sealing as separate options so the customer can choose, rather than adding them on site without warning.
  • Avoid loss-leader advertised prices that only work with large upsells. If your advertised price is a starting price, say what it includes.
