What every chimney estimate needs
- Your business name, contact details and license number
- Estimate number, date and how long the price is valid
- Clear options (good, better, best) with what each includes
- Warranty terms and any permit or inspection fees
- Deposit required, if any
- A place for the customer to approve and sign
Pricing chimney work
- Price sweeps per flue with a Level 1 inspection included, plus clear add-ons for extra flues, inserts or stoves that must be pulled, and heavy creosote removal.
- Price Level 2 inspections separately: camera time, report writing and the extra areas examined take longer than a sweep.
- Price liners from material cost per foot and fittings, plus crew hours at your loaded rate, plus margin. Measure the flue before quoting.
- Price masonry by the job from measured quantities and crew hours, with a written allowance for hidden damage found once work starts.
